<p>The front-mounted tractor attachment is used to recover branches and brushwood arising from timber felling operations etc., and also carries out crushing and self-loading operations. It comprises three cutting discs (13-15) mounted on a sub-frame (3) so as to slide laterally together with two jack (21) actuated clamping arms (11). Two indented rollers (10,12,19,20) driven by hydraulic motors are mounted on each of the arms and are used to feed timber to the crusher, the crushed material then being fed to a skip (22) by a chute. The arms are capable of pivoting about horizontal axles under jack actuation and can be raised in unison during cutting operations.</p> |
