Coupling of a microprocessor ( mu P1) to a second microprocessor ( mu P2) without any interface for direct memory access to an address data bus (Ad/Da bus) which connects the two microprocessors to one another; a random access memory (RAM) (which has defined subregions for storing data intended for interchange) is connected to the address data bus (Ad/Da bus). The second microprocessor ( mu P2) is connected to the address data bus (Ad/Da bus) via a bus matching device (BA) which can be controlled by the first microprocessor. <IMAGE>
