Stand for clamping and aligning vehicle bodies damaged in accidents, consisting of a flat platform which can be moved by means of rollers and under which are arranged pockets for the reception of the horizontal arms of the supports carrying the vehicle, of at least four supports attachable to the platform and having clamped or plug-in connection elements arranged at their upper end, and of a rail connectable to the platform and having a pulling device. In this apparatus, two beams (23), which rest on the platform (11), can be clamped fast on it and are held parallel to one another and at a certain distance from one another by struts (24, 25), have clamping elements (30) for fixing the horizontal rail (21) of the pulling device (22) at their outer ends (29), which project beyond the platform (11). A supporting device (31) associated with the two beams (23) and providing support for the body to be repaired consists of a horizontal rail (32), which rests on the beams (23) and can be clamped to or is supported on at least one beam, and of a vertical supporting device (31) which can be displaced along the said rail and clamped to it. <IMAGE>
