To satisfy the demands to be met by cast spectacles or cast spectacle parts in an optimum manner, the alloy has the following composition: 62.5% of Cu, 20.1% of Ni, 14.8% of Zn, 1% of Cr, 1% of Al and 0.6% of Be. The alloy is particularly suitable for spin-casting.
