The invention relates to a method for a microprocessor-controlled PABX system, in articular an intercom system with external terminals. The terminals in the intercom system operate with digital control signals and the external terminals with analog control signals. A call diversion facility is provided from the internal terminals. If this call diversion is forgotten, a facility is to be provided from an authorised external terminal for incoming calls to diverted there without a call of this type being lost when an external terminal is not busy and an internal terminal is busy. This is implemented in that a flag can be inserted by the external terminal in the central system memory by means of which the call is routed in parallel to the external terminal and to the corresponding internal terminal. This flag can be deleted again by the external terminal. The analog-digital conversion and vice versa are performed by an adaptation device. The method can be used essentially in extensions with mixed control-signal and dialling methods.
