Process for the harvesting of beet and harvesting machine for carrying out the process

A process for the harvesting of beet, especially sugarbeet, is described. To allow a technologically advantageous utilisation of the various parts of the beet plant, during harvesting the beet plant is decomposed into its parts, namely beet leaves with stalks, beet top, beet body and beet tail, and these parts are collected separately in a way suitable for them.
