<p>The cylindrical packing comprises a base and a closed sidewall of relatively rigid material. The sidewall comprises a lower part (3) fixed to the bottom and an upper part (4) fitting closely round the bottom one and sliding between the upper shut position and the lower open position. An intermediate part (5) joins the upper and lower parts together, and contains cut-out portions (6) and fold lines (7) forming flaps (8) closing the top face (9) of the packing when in the shut position. In the open position these allow insertion of the contents, e.g. a bottle of perfume. The packing can be rectangular, with a square base, and the cut-out portions and fold lines can be arranged so as to form four triangular flaps with edges along the diagonals of the top face.</p> |
