PURPOSE:To improve the digestibility of alga to control smell as much as possible, by bringing a edible minute alga into contact with an aricine compound in the presence of an inert and nontoxic compound. CONSTITUTION:(A) 1g edible minute alga such as Chlorella, Senedesmus, spirulina, etc. having length of 1mu-1mm. is brought into contact with (B) >=0.5mg aricine compound selected from an aqueous solution of aricine, ultrafine powder aricine and an aricine derivative to be linked to protein in the presence of (C)>=0.5mg nontoxic inorganic compound (e.g., water, NaCl) which is innert to the component A and the component B at low temperature or normal temperature for >=24hr, the cell membrane of the component A is at least partially activated, the component A is bonded to the component B physically or chemically, and dried at <=50 deg.C until water content becomes <=5wt%. |
