PURPOSE:To minimize the shock caused when a direct-coupled clutch is engaged, by executing duty control of a solenoid valve for controlling a lock-up control valve at the time of engaging and disengaging the direct-coupled clutch. CONSTITUTION:A lock-up control mechanism 70 is composed of a lock-up control valve 71, an orifice 77 and a solenoid valve 76 which controls the hydraulic pressure in an oil passage 4a communicated with an oil passage 4 via the orifice 77. The lock-up control valve 71 is acted at one side thereof by the hydraulic pressure in the oil passage 4 imposed on a land 73C via the oil passage 4 and the load of a spring 72, while it is acted at the opposite side thereof by the solenoid pressure in the oil passage 4a that is controlled by the solenoid valve 76 duty-controlled by a sleeve 75 or the hydraulic pressure in an oil passage 8 for disengaging a direct-coupled clutch 430 that is imposed on a land 73A and the load of a spring 74. Thus, the valve 71 controls communication between the oil passage 4 and the oil passage 8 or an oil passage 9 used for engaging the clutch. |
