In an original-feeding device for copiers, having a turning device for the originals removed from the underside of the pile (6) of originals by means of a separating apparatus, the turning device is formed in a simple manner by a transport cylinder (3), on which the exposure point for the originals is also arranged. Mounted on the transport cylinder is a pivotable strip (8) of suction nozzles which is pivoted onto the underside of the pile for separating the originals. It retains the separated original on the transport cylinder during the exposure of said original and until it is transferred to a conveying device (126, 127) connected downstream of the transport cylinder (3). For making multiple copies in a rapid manner, the original can remain on the transport cylinder (3) for several rotations. A further transport device (115-120) allows individual entry of originals to be exposed in the continuous process. <IMAGE>
