In order to facilitate operation and safeguard the operating functions, a driving regulator, surrounded by a steering yoke, is arranged on a wheelchair, in which the effect is achieved, with the aid of a cam disc (6), that a single regulator lever (3) actuates not only a voltage regulator (13), in the same direction for both forward and backward travel, but also a travel direction switch (21).
