The invention relates to a noise protection structure to be arranged along busy roads, railway tracks and the like, in particular in the area of bridges and flyovers, comprising a supporting structure and transparent wall panels. In order to provide effective protection against traffic noise using simple and low-cost means, the wall panels which are produced from glass and reflect noise are inclined outwards with respect to the perpendicular at an angle of 15 to 20 DEG . The glass wall panels can be arranged in a common plane inclined at an angle of 15 to 20 DEG . Furthermore several individual glass wall panels can be arranged abutting at a front side of the supporting structure inclined by 15 to 20 DEG .
