The invention relates to a WC-shower tray or bathtub shower tray which, standing upright, is fastened on a wall or the like such that it can be pivoted or folded downwards by means of a mechanism fitted on one side, and which has a cable pull which is connected to the shower tray on the opposite side of the pivot mechanism, can be pivoted downwards over the existing installation, WC or bathtub by means of a hand-actuated crank device or winch or an electric-motor gear mechanism via deflection rollers and can thus be converted into a showering apparatus and, in reverse order, converts back to the respectively previous installation. The shower tray can also be installed directly over the floor and be enclosed in the bottom region by a casing. In the folded-up position, the latter permits conversion into a built-in cupboard which, extended upwards, serves to interrupt a bath screen which can be folded outwards. In the case of the latter embodiment, the wastewater is delivered directly into the installation present on the floor, or it is delivered to the washbasin, WC or the like by means of a suction pump.
