摘要 The gear motors for internal combustion engines, for which universal applicability is claimed in the patent, operate as turbine rotors without oscillating machine parts in a housing and utilise fuels of all kinds better than all internal combustion engines hitherto by virtue of a longer and completely different utilisation of the internal combustion expansion gas over about 270 DEG of the 360 DEG of the arc of revolution. The problems of existing engines, e.g. reciprocating piston engines, are the expansion gas pressures required for a 4-stroke process of 2 x 360 DEG = 720 DEG for the mechanical power stroke, which extends over only 120 DEG . These pressures had to be sufficiently large to ensure that the remaining 600 DEG of circular arc and the instantaneously required torques were overcome with kinetic energy from the previous working cycle because the physically poor leverage, which varies widely in length during a stroke, is, after 120 DEG , at the bottom dead centre and end of the energy utilisation and the necessarily excessive energy residue is then released without being used before the next cycle. The same applies to turbine power plant types of construction due to excessively high throughputs and flow rates owing to poor frictional engagement. The solution in my engine inventions is as follows: a lightweight construction because high compressions are avoided, the ignition temperatures being those for diesel and heavy-oil combustion - with stratified charge as a rotary piston engine in combination with meshing engagement, used as turbine rotors. <IMAGE>
