[Problem] To obtain a filter element with a simple constitution that can reliably prevent remixing of liquid collected by a filtration member into compressed air after cleaning. [Solution] A filter element has an inside filtration member 7 surrounding a center space 6, an outside filtration member 8 surrounding the inside filtration member 7, an upper end cap 23 having an introduction opening 31 for introducing compressed air inside the center space 6, and a lower end cap 24 closing off the lower end part of the center space 6. The outer periphery of the lower end part of the inner filtration member 7 is surrounded by an inner side wall 37 and the outer periphery of the lower end part of the outer filtration member 8 is surrounded by an outer side wall 38, with the upper end surface 38a of the outer side wall 38 being positioned higher than the upper end surface 37a of the inner side wall 37. A liquid discharge path 25 is formed between the outer side wall 38 and the inner side wall 37, and the liquid discharge path 25 is connected to a liquid discharge hole 25a open in the lower surface of the lower end cap 24. |
