An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) by a wireless device (user equipment) by means of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) in a carrier aggregation (CA) environment in which five or more carriers are aggregated. A method can comprise the steps of: determining, on the basis of the size of uplink control information, whether or not cyclical redundancy check (CRC) is to be generated; if CRC has been decided to be generated, generating CRC for detecting an error in the uplink control information; mapping the generated CRC and the uplink control information on a PUCCH; and transmitting the PUCCH on which the CRC and uplink control information have been mapped.
