Compressor unit

A compressor unit of a heat pump has an electric motor and a compressor set. In order to be able to exchange the compressor set separately from the electric motor, the compressor set is housed in a separate casing. The shaft of the electric motor and that of the compressor set are rigidly linked to one another in the direction of rotation, but can be detached from one another in the axial direction. The refrigerant is taken, via a suction line, from the casing of the electric motor and passed into the casing of the compressor set.
