<p>The support for glazing panes comprises at least two support surfaces (15,24) carrying resilient seals (30) against which the edges of two adjacent glass panes (31) are secured by a finishing strip (33). The support has a core of rectangular cross-section. One of the minor sides carries a central longitudinal rib (6) whilst the other minor side (3) contains a central longitudinal channel (9). Each major side (4,5) extends into a wing (13,21) which diverges from the minor side carrying the rib (6) and is connected to the core by a gutter (22), a cavity (25,26) being arranged between each wing and the corresponding major side.</p> |
