PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonvinyl chloride-based stretch film which is excellent in packaging workability, package finishing, and profitability. SOLUTION: This stretch film for food packaging has at least one layer composed mainly of a copolymer of an olefin with a vinyl arom. compd. meeting the following requirements (1) to (3), wherein the film has a storage elastic modulus (E') of 5.0×10<8> to 5.0×10<9> dyn/cm<2> as measured by dynamic viscoelasticity measurement under conditions of the frequency of 10 Hz and the temp of 20 deg.C and the loss tangent (tanδ) of 0.2 to 0.8: (1) the comonomer ratio of the olefin to the vinyl arom. compd. is (30:70) to (70:30) in terms of wt. ratio; (2) the peak temp. of the loss modulus (E") of the copolymer of the olefin with the vinyl arom. compd. as measured at the frequency of 10 Hz by dynamic viscoelasticity measurement is -20 deg.C to below 20 deg.C; and (3) the heat of melting of the copolymer of the olefin with the vinyl arom. compd. is not more than 80 J/g. |
