The invention relates to a motor vehicle wheel which is produced in one piece from a light-weight metal alloy and has a rim and wheel disc. Usually Al-Mg-Si alloys, which are very expensive, are used as the material for such wheels. In order to save material, it is therefore proposed to equip the wheel discs between the hub and rim with sector-shaped wall areas which reinforce the disc wall and widen outwards and whose axis of symmetry is located in each case essentially in a plane defined by the axes of the axle bore and one of the wheel bolt bores. As a result, it is possible in an optimum fashion to make the wall of the wheel disc thinner between the reinforced wall areas since these wall areas conduct into the wheel rim the forces, distributed evenly over the circumference of the rim, which become active on the wheel.
