The aim of the invention is the production of mouldings having complicated shapes with the aid of simple and cheap pressing technology and with high productivity. According to the invention the laminate material is press-moulded in a first operation in a preferably flat mould and deformed in a second operation utilising the slidability of the layers on account of the viscosity of the adhesive during the deformation to form the moulding. The mouldings can be used in furniture construction, interior fittings, automotive manufacture and in the packaging, toy and sports equipment industries.
