<p>A former (1) moulded from a semi-rigid nylon material is used to form a solid of rotation, onto which the petals of the artificial flowers are attached. A reinforced circular opening (2) at the base of the former carries metal brackets supporting an internally threaded ring (5) which screws over the exterior of the Edison screw lamp carrier mounted on a support (9) which encloses the electric power supply cable. The petals are formed from a washable material and are fixed to the former by glue or by insertion of pins, formed on the underside of the petals, into holes in the former surface.</p> |
