The lock cylinder, especially for motor-vehicle steering locks, is engageable in the associated receiving housing by means of a pin radially moveable in the cylinder housing and loaded outwards by a spring, the cylinder housing being equipped with a damping member for tolerance compensation between the receiving housing and the cylinder housing of the lock cylinder. The spring and the damping member are made in one piece. For this, the damping member has at least one tongue which resembles a leaf spring and which engages with the free end on the pin.
