The invention relates to an absorber for a solar collector. The absorber consists of two identical elements 10, 12 made from a conducting metal, preferably aluminium, which are obtained by extrusion and each comprise a single rectangular fin 14 which can terminate, on one of its longitudinal edges, in a semi-cylindrical portion 16 situated mainly beneath the plane of the fin, the said two elements being arranged side by side in such a way that their fins are in a same plane and that their semi-cylindrical portions complement each other to form a channel intended to receive a sealed duct 22 for the circulation of a heat-transfer fluid and are assembled by appropriate connection means 20. <IMAGE>
