An elastic positioning method for an axle box of a railway freight car bogie, using a separated baseplate V-shaped rubber pad to form reliable contact and positioning with the V-shaped surfaces of the load-bearing surface of the top part of a bearing saddle and the load-bearing surface of the bottom part of a side frame guide block. An elastic positioning apparatus for an axle box of a railway freight car bogie, comprising a top baseplate (44), a bottom baseplate (41), and a rubber pad (40), the top baseplate (44), the bottom baseplate (41), and the rubber pad (40) forming a V shaped load-bearing surface; the rubber pad is integrally vulcanised to the upper baseplate (44) and the bottom baseplate (41), forming an axle box flexible positioning apparatus having a metal upper and lower surface and an elastomer centre; the upper baseplate (44) and the lower baseplate (41) are separated structures, forming a separated baseplate V-shaped rubber pad. |
