Thermal insulation for a wall structure (1), consisting of insulation panels (2) made from heat insulating material having closed pores, the panels (2) being attached to the inner surface and/or to the outer surface of the wall structure (1) and being provided with channels (7) extending crosswise to the plane of the panel and starting from at least one surface thereof, characterized in that the channels (7) traverse the panels (2) across a part of their thickness only, preferably across a larger part thereof, and extend in an inclined direction in relation to the plane of the panel, the insulation panels (2) being attached outside or inside of the wall structure (1), such that the channels (7) are inclined downwards in the direction from inside to outside of the building structure to be insulated. |
