The tractor, particularly agricultural, has a three-point lifting mechanism at the rear end. In side view, the forward end of a link of this mechanism is near the leading edge of a tractor wheel. This link can be attached to a cross-member at right angles to the travel direction, and at the front of the tractor rear wheels, and- which supports the latter. The member can be rigidly secured to a tube extending in the travel direction, and by means of which it tilts on a part of the tractor chassis, the tube containing a hydraulic ram actuating the lifting mechanism.
