A method for painting a fishing rod with a bamboo pattern consists of the following processes. The rod is put into a hole on a rubber plate. The diameter of the hole is three times smaller than the rod's and the rod is immersed in the paint tank. The rough side of the rubber plate lays in the paint tank, and the rod is pulled, rotated, or tilted to get the desired pattern.
