The subject of the invention are modular panels having a timber frame for the construction of buildings. The said panel is composed, from the interior I to the exterior E, of the timber framework 3, a plasterboard layer 1, of a thickness of mineral woll 2 and of a plywood plate 4, and, which is novel, as exterior insulation means, from the plywood 4 towards the exterior E, of a thickness of polystyrene 5, of a thickness serving as a glass frame 6, of a glue-cement layer 7 and of roughcast 8.
