The blocker (1) has a body (3) with a through hole (4) for passage of a carabiner (5), and a curved groove (9) opening into the through hole for passage of a safety rope (2), where the body is rotatable between a blocking position in which the rope is blocked by the carabiner against the body, and a releasing position in which the rope slides in the groove. The groove includes a wall separating the inside of the through hole and the inside of the groove, so that the carabiner bears against the wall for allowing the rope to slide while preventing the rope from rubbing against the carabiner. |
