FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Active bolster for vehicle passenger cabin comprises planar interior trim panel, inflatable bladder from flexible plastic material, pressure pump and support structure that is bowl-shaped. Planar interior trim panel has a class A surface and directed towards the passenger compartment, and class B surface on the side opposite to the class A surface. Class B surface has a tear seam following a closed path. Inflatable bladder from flexible plastic material has rim connected with the class B surface in along the inner edge of the tear seam. Pressure pump is connected to the inflatable bladder. Bowl-shaped support structure has a cavity to accommodate inflatable bladder and rim attached to the class B surface along the outer edge of the tear seam. Tear seam is invisible on the side class A surface.EFFECT: simplified design of an active bolster and increased safety of a motor vehicle.9 cl, 9 dwg |
