In known toilets, in particular in cat toilets, emptying the toilet container of used litter and filling with fresh litter is awkward and connected with dirt. Moreover, unused litter is also lost during emptying. In order to provide a remedy in this respect, there is also provided in the new toilet as part of the complete toilet, in addition to the toilet container, a waste container, the waste container being situated under the toilet container. The two containers are separated from one another by a movable slide which forms the bottom of the toilet container. By lateral sliding of the slide, an opening is exposed, through which the used litter can be pushed into the lower waste container.
