<p>PURPOSE:To perform effectively replacement of a penetrant and air by forming alternately a region which opens backward and a region which opens forward on the outside circumference in the rear part of pig bodies which move in a pipe in sliding contact therewith, at the phases deviated circumferentially to avoid the communication of both regions with each other in such a way that the opposed ends of both regions overlap in the moving direction. CONSTITUTION:Three pigs 2, 3, 4 which are connected to each other by means of connecting ropes 5, 6 are introduced into an existing pipe 1 from the opening at one end, and are slid in an arrow direction in the pipe 1 while the tight contact with the inside surface of said pipe is maintained, thereby transferring the penetrant A between the 1st pig 2 and the 2nd pig 3 and the putty B between the 2nd pig 2 and the 3rd pig 3 for repairing the inside surface of the pipe 1. A region (a) which is opened into a backward space by slopes 22, 23 and a region (b) which is opened in a forward space by air escape holes 24, 25 are formed on the outside circumference in the rear part of the pig bodies 21 of the pigs 2, 3.
