PURPOSE:To make a diethylene glycol bisallyl carbonate lens hard to scratch and to inhibit the surface reflection by coating the surface of the lens with a layer of a mixture of prescribed compounds by heat curing, and forming an antireflection film. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a lens made of diethylene glycol bisallyl carbonate (CR-39) is coated with a layer consisting of specified compounds as principal components and stannous chloride as a curing catalyst by heat curing. Said specified compounds are a multifunctional epoxy compound and a partial hydrolyzate of a mixture of a compound represented by general formula I (where X is <=4C alkoxy) with a compound represented by general formula II (where R<1> is an org. group having an epoxy group or a gamma-methacryloxypropyl group, R<2> is H or a 1-4C org. group, Y is halogen other than F or alkoxy, and each of (l) and (m) is an integer of >=0 satisfying l+m<2). A single-layer or multilayered antireflection film made of an inorg. substance is then formed on said org. layer. By controlling the ratios among the compounds, the hardness of the org. layer and the adhesive strength to the antireflection film can be improved. |
