The subject of the invention is a food container and its method for triggering production of integral heating. The water roll 3 is suspended via its ends 4 and 5 just above the bottom 8 of the heating tray 1, the said ends resting on bearing surfaces 6 and 7 provided for this purpose. The tear cord 9 has two functions, the first being tearing and opening the water roll 3, the second being opening a passage for the water vapour via the protective cover 10, which continues to have its protective role.
