The invention relates to a device for accommodating and fastening skis to a car roof, which is composed of roof racks fastened to the vehicle and a reception part which is connected to the latter, is made of plastic and has a rounded outline. The reception part is composed of a bowl which is essentially parallel to the roof surface, the edge of which adjoins the roof in a sealing manner in the vicinity of the windscreen and the door openings, said bowl forming an appropriate space, which is open at the rear, between it and the roof and has fastening means on the inside.
