Composite sheet comprising a set of perforated pockets, and their use in a method of regulating the speed of release of a gas for the preservation of foodstuffs. The composite sheet 10 comprises pockets 11 containing a chemical product which can react with humidity to release a gas and supply an atmosphere of gas, whose function is to preserve foodstuffs, in the closed container intended for containing foodstuffs for despatch. The choice of the number of non-perforated pockets 11e and of the number of perforations 20 in the perforated pockets 11a allows the selective variation and regulation of the speed of release of the gas. Application: preservation of fruit, such as grapes, during their transport and storage. <IMAGE> |
