The invention relates to a clamping device on a machine tool, for example for clamping an additional angular milling head or another additional accessory to the centre sleeve of a machine tool, for example a drilling and milling machine. The object of the invention is to provide a simple, universally practicable clamping device, for example for clamping an additional milling head or another additional accessory to the centre sleeve of a machine tool, for example a drilling and milling machine. The essence of the invention is that there is provided in the centre sleeve at least one cavity, in which there is mounted rotatably about its axis and displaceably in the axial direction a clamping socket which is provided at one end with a bayonet orifice for a bayonet head of a clamping bolt and the second end of which is designed for connection to a source of a clamping force, for example by means of a nut which is under the pressure of springs by way of a ring.
