<p>A method and apparatus for transporting vulnerable products such as eggs, along successive stations and handling the same therein, each product at the beginning of the handling cycle being received separately in a container that is freely movable in at least one direction during a part of the handling cycle, and being removed therefrom after the handling cycle. Said container may be open at the top, narrowing towards the bottom, e.g. according to a truncated cone, and further comprising a foot extending perpendicularly to the container axis, the outer circumference of said foot being at least equal to the outer circumference of the upper edge of the container.</p> |
