The invention relates to anti-theft devices preventing the starting of vehicles supplied with fuel by an electric pump. It comprises an electric circuit connected to the electric power supply of the pump and an actuating control, this device cutting off the supply of fuel; the vehicle cannot start. The method is practically tamperproof due to its relatively simple, and therefore effective, design. Amongst the most advantageous applications of the invention, mention may be made of the automotive industry. <IMAGE>
