The display panel according to the invention comprises a vertical casing 1 including in its front wall an aperture in which a screen 11 bearing information is visible from the outside. It is characterised in that its casing comprises in its lower side wall a longitudinal slot 13 through which the screen 11 is movable in translation between its normal display position inside the aperture and a lowered position in which it is below the aperture.
