Blank cylinder apparatus for a glass forming machine of the continuous rotation press and blow type. The mechanism comprises a support member (18), a piston (20) mounted on the support member, a cylinder (2) mounted on the piston and movable with respect thereto, a cam follower (6) mounted on the cylinder, a cam track (8) in which the follower is positioned, a neck ring support arm (16), and a bracket (12) attached to said cam track and said neck ring support arm.
