Microwave-frequency generator consisting of at least one oscillator 50 with dual-gate field-effect transistor and characterised in that it comprises on the one hand a master oscillator 70 distinct from the field-effect transistor oscillator and connected by way of a coupler 60 to this field-effect transistor oscillator by one of the gate electrodes G1 or G2 or the drain electrode D of the said field-effect transistor, and on the other hand a circuit 80 or 90 for controlling the voltage of the other gate G2 or G1.
