An intermediate profile (1) is arranged between in each case two adjacent folding-wall wings (20) or their vertical frame profiles (2) of a folding wall and is connected in a hinge-like manner to the frame profiles, the intermediate profile (1) serving at least for receiving hinge pins (14), cooperating with a respective hinge plate (15) on the respective frame profile (2), and either running rollers (10, 11) or locking means (7, 8). The intermediate profiles (1) are correspondingly at least approximately box-shaped hollow profiles which have, on their two narrow sides, inner profile projections (5%) for forming a respective hinge groove (5), receiving the hinge pins (14), and a central inner profile projection (6%) for forming a guide groove (6) receiving the carriers (11) of the running rollers (10) or the rods (7) of the locking means. These measures make it possible to have a folding wall which can be produced and assembled especially efficiently and therefore cost-effectively, can easily be folded together and unfolded, allows accident-free handling and, in the unfolded state, guarantees a high joint sealing even under the effect of pressure, for example caused by wind. <IMAGE>
