A roller bearing of the present invention comprises an inner ring (1), an outer ring (2), a plurality of balls (3), and first and second ring-shaped members (4a, 4b), the roller bearing being further provided with a retainer (4) that retains each of the plurality of balls (3) and a rivet (6) that mutually joins the first and second ring-shaped members (4a, 4b). A bonding plate section (PC) of the first ring-shaped member (4a) and a bonding plate section (PC) of the second ring-shaped member (4b) are joined by the rivet (6), which has been inserted into first and second through-holes (H1, H2) in a state in which a convex section (PP) has been fit into a concave section (CP) so as to retain the balls (3) between a pocket surface (PS) of the first ring-shaped member (4a) and a pocket surface (PS) of the second ring-shaped member (4b). |
