PURPOSE:To obtain various forms of energy distributions and to make the same usable for multiple purposes by condensing the laser beams divided by a polyhedral mirror, combining the same and rotating further the beams. CONSTITUTION:An original laser beam 1 is applied to a polyhedral mirror 3 and is divided to plural pieces of laser beams. The divided beams 4a, 4b are conducted respectively to concave mirrors 6a, 6b by which the beams are reflected. The reflected beams 8a, 8b are condensed to one point on a material 7 to be worked. The optical system consisting of the mirror 3 and the mirrors 6a, 6b is rotated at a high speed. Extremely many and diversified kinds of rotating beam patterns are obtd. according to the vertical angle of the mirror 3, the spacing and focal length of the mirrors 6a, 6b as well as the degree of combining the same in the stage of condensing, etc. The beam patterns are thus made usable effectively and adequately in working for multiple purposes. |
