PURPOSE:To obtain an U-shaped steel sheet pile with excellent quality by using at every pass, a reversing mill capable of varying rolling reduction mainly in an intermediate roll-forming stage, and rolling a rolling material by plurally reversing it through the same caliber by which the elongation is balanced between a flange and a web. CONSTITUTION:In rolling a U-shaped steel sheet pile having two claws at its joining parts, a blank bloom (m) sent from a preceding process is rough roll- formed into a rolling material by B, D mills of a rough rolling process, and is fed to an intermediate rolling process. And an intermediate roll-forming (front stage) of the material sent from the B, D mills, is performed through the intermediate rolling process provided with roll calibers (Kal-8, -7, -6) shown in the figure. In this case, the Kal-7 shown by fig (a) in the roll which is formed by applying the subject invented method mentioned above. Next, the material formed in the front stage is roll-formed (rear stage) by using the roll calibers (Kal-5, -4), shown by fig. (b). Finally a finish roll-forming is performed at F, or F1, F2, F3 of a finish rolling process by using the roll calibers (Kal-3, -2, -1) in the same way as a conventional one, to obtain a hot rolled product of U-shaped steel-sheet pile. |
