PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device capable of ensuring safety of a user, by suppressing reception of the projection light by eyes.SOLUTION: In an image projection device including a light source, and a projection unit for projecting an image, generated in response to an image signal, to a display surface by using the light from a light source, the projection unit can project the light from the light source or an image only to a part of the maximum area where the display surface can be irradiated with the light from the light source, and prevent a user from receiving the projection light directly to the eyes, by setting the part of the maximum area equal to lower half of the projection image corresponding to the height of the eye line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
