The outlet nozzle for centrifuge drums is used for continuously discharging albumen concentrates. The object was to develop a nozzle in which the discharge of concentrate out of the centrifuge drum into the nozzle body takes place over a smaller diameter than the feeding of the concentrate to the nozzle. According to the invention, this was achieved in that the nozzle consists of the nozzle body with a calibrated through-flow opening arranged at an angle to the axis of the nozzle, a mouthpiece and a cap, the cap being of greater dimensions than the mouthpiece and being fitted onto the mouthpiece on the side of the separating space in such a way that annular gaps are formed which can be adjusted as a function of the medium to be processed, and one or more lateral bores are arranged in the cap, the distance of which bores from the axis of the drum being greater than the distance of the end face of the mouthpiece from the axis of the drum and the bores and the annular gaps being selected to be of such a size that their through-flow rate is smaller overall than that of the calibrated through-flow opening (see Fig. 1). <IMAGE> |
