A copolymeric hyperbranched triazine ring-containing polymer characterized by comprising a recurring unit structure of formula (1) belowwherein R, R′, R″ and R′″ are each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group; Ar1 and Ar2 differ from each other and Ar1 and Ar2 are at least one selected from the group consisting of formulas (2) to (11), (13) to (18) and (22) below with the proviso that at least one of Ar1 and Ar2 is at least one selected from the group (11), (14), (15), and (22)wherein R1 to R128 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a carboxyl group, a sulfonyl group, an alkyl group which may have a branched structure of 1 to 10 carbons, or an alkoxy group which may have a branched structure of 1 to 10 carbons; W1 and W2 are each independently a single bond, CR129R130 (R129 and R130 being each independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group which may have a branched structure of 1 to 10 carbons, with the proviso that R129 and R130 may together form a ring), C═O, O, S, SO, SO2 or NR131 (R131 being a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group which may have a branched structure of 1 to 10 carbons); and X1 and X2 are each independently a single bond, an alkylene group which may have a branched structure of 1 to 10 carbons, or a group of formula (19) belowR132 to R135 being each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a carboxyl group, a sulfonyl group, an alkyl group which may have a branched structure of 1 to 10 carbons, or an alkoxy group which may have a branched structure of 1 to 10 carbons; and Y1 and Y2 being each independently a single bond or an alkylene group which may have a branched structure of 1 to 10 carbons.
